{"id":2005,"date":"2017-03-01T21:43:11","date_gmt":"2017-03-01T21:43:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.obumagazine.com\/?p=2005"},"modified":"2017-05-04T17:48:36","modified_gmt":"2017-05-04T17:48:36","slug":"third-consecutive-learfield-cup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.okbu.edu\/obumagazine\/third-consecutive-learfield-cup\/","title":{"rendered":"Third Consecutive Learfield Cup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">OBU received its third consecutive Learfield Sports Directors\u2019 Cup as the best overall athletics program in the NAIA this summer during the 2015 National Association of College Directors of Athletics Convention.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The Learfield Sports Directors\u2019 Cup was developed as a joint effort between the NACDA and USA Today.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cIt\u2019s very gratifying to get this third Learfield Sports Directors\u2019 Cup in our final year of the NAIA,\u201d said OBU Director of Athletics Robert Davenport. \u201cOur coaches overcame a lot of new wrinkles in this year of transition and our student-athletes again posted successful seasons while carrying a grade point average over 3.0 as a department.
