Bison Glee Club to Perform at OBU May 3

Oklahoma Baptist University’s Bison Glee Club will perform a spring concert Thursday, May 3, at 7:30 p.m. in OBU’s Yarborough Auditorium. The performance concludes the club’s April 27-29 tour in Texas and Oklahoma.

The program features selections from Let All Men Sing, How Can I Keep From Singing, Grace, Toccata of Praise, Steal Away, Dry Bones, and He’s the One.

Dr. David DeSeguirant, OBU associate professor of music and director of choral studies, will conduct the program, accompanied by Joab Somerville, a 2006 OBU graduate.

Bison Glee Club members include: Taylor Bruce, senior from St. Louis, Mo.; Richard DeCray, junior from Moore, Okla.; Mark Deering, senior from Niles, Mich.; Daniel Evans, sophomore from Moore, Okla.; Ian Hockett, freshman from Dallas, Texas; Chris Lind, sophomore from Houston, Texas; Benjamin Mitchell, junior from Centerton, Ark., Jeff Murdock, senior from Hobbs, N.M.; Allan Pellegrin, freshman from Oklahoma City, Okla.; Bryan Reece, junior from Fort Worth, Texas; Jacob Seels, sophomore from Harrah, Okla.; and Samuel Simmons, freshman from Blackwell, Okla.

The Bison Glee Club spring tour performances include Lone Grove High School, Dallas, Texas, Friday, April 27 at 12:30 p.m.; Lane Prairie Baptist Church in Joshua, Texas, Sunday, April 29, at 10:45 a.m.; Western Hills Church in Oklahoma City, Okla., Sunday, April 29 at 6 p.m.
