Earn Your Undergrad Degree and MBA in Five Years at OBU

For high school students, there are many options available to choose from when it comes to deciding on a university to attend, a major to declare and career options to consider. At Oklahoma Baptist University, we recognize the many options students have as they begin to plan for their future. To help students work smarter, nor harder, we’ve developed various programs to aid students in their journey through higher education. One of these options is OBU’s Integrated MBA.

What is an Integrated MBA?

The Integrated MBA program allows students to finish their undergraduate degrees and Masters of Business Administration in five years. The best part? You don’t have to choose an undergrad major in a business-related field to qualify for the Integrated MBA program. Students with varying degrees of study can qualify for the integrated program, as long as these required business courses are taken:

  • Introduction to Business Finance
  • Basic Statistics
  • Principles of Accounting I
  • Micro or Macro Economics

A typical MBA program can take between two and five years after you’ve earned your undergraduate degree. With an Integrated MBA, you can spend just one extra year completing your studies and then enter the workforce with a competitive advantage compared to your peers. Many students also use this time to complete internships or enter the workforce.

Why choose an Integrated MBA?

There are countless reasons why an Integrated MBA may be the ideal course for you to take as you embark on your journey through higher education. Here are just a few of the reasons why our students choose this program:

  • MBA classes can be included in your normal block tuition
  • Additional career opportunities may be available with an Integrated MBA.
  • An Integrated MBA reduces the time pursing graduate studies compared to traditional programs.

In addition to these and many other reasons, when you choose OBU’s Integrated MBA program, you reduce the number of hours needed to graduate with an MBA from 36 to 30. OBU’s Integrated MBA program uses the curriculum established by the OBU College of Graduate and Professional Studies to equip students with business, ethics and leadership skills needed to be a successful student.
