Biography

Megan Smith's nursing background includes pediatric acute and critical care, as well as pediatric clinical education. She is particularly passionate about promoting holistic student health (spiritual, emotional, and physical) throughout nursing school. She also loves clinical simulation and enjoys finding creative ways to make complex concepts more easily understandable to learners. Megan has enjoyed being a part of and leading Global Outreach trips to both Mexico (2016) and Kenya (2022). In her spare time, Megan enjoys cooking/baking, hiking, traveling, and gardening.
