Christi McGahan is an OBU graduate with a degree in electronic media production. She is is a four time NATAS Heartland Regional Emmy winner and a National Education Television Association Program Production winner. Her first year out of college she received the NATAS Heartland "Rookie of the Year" behind the scenes award. She specializes in documentary storytelling and has edited over twenty five documentaries. Over the last decade, she has received several journalism awards in the state of Oklahoma. Christi has worked for the documentary department at OETA-PBS, Lampstand Media, Jasco Products, and as a freelancer.
Currently, she is an instructor of Journalism and Mass Media at OBU and the Oklahoma Broadcasters Education Association's Vice President. Christi is pursuing a Masters in Video Promotion and Content at Liberty University. She is a strong advocate for learning through hands on experience. Christi resides in Oklahoma City with her husband and two children. Christi's interests are fitness, real estate, video production and dark chocolate.
