Health and Physical Education is offered through the Division of Health and Human Performance in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Students will obtain a Bachelor of Science in Education (HPER K-12) while studying health and physical education specific to primary and secondary schools. The degree focuses on developing quality health educators, physical education instructors and athletic coaches in public and private school settings.

What are OBU grads doing with their Health & Physical Education, P-12 degrees?
The majority of students pursue certification and licensure in the state of Oklahoma, which provides temporary status to teach and/or coach in several other states. Many obtain additional training and teaching specialties. Some pursue graduate education to teach/coach at junior colleges and universities.
