Traveling Bison Safety Information

The safety of our OBU guests is a top priority of the University and our travel program partners, who are closely monitoring the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus and its impact on our global community of travelers. Recent events have changed the landscape of travel, and new protocols are being developed in order to resume traveling domestically or abroad.

When travel resumes, it will look different, and it will be incredibly important that travelers and tour operators work together to keep each other safe. Recognizing that traveler safety is top priority, our tour operators have developed enhanced safety protocols.

A Note to Travelers Regarding COVID-19

The OBU Alumni Association Travel Program offers alumni and friends the chance to visit amazing locations with other members of the Bison family. The safety of our OBU travelers is a top priority of the University and our travel program partners who are closely monitoring the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus and the impact it is having on our global community of travelers.

Our travel operators are in constant contact with their suppliers around the world who are closely monitoring developments on this continually evolving situation. Their partners and suppliers on the ground are providing frequent and ongoing updates for various trips and destinations. They are also reviewing daily information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), and the U.S. Department of State. We will continue to update trips on this site as we receive information from our travel partners.

Please do not hesitate to contact us at alumni@okbu.edu if you have any questions.
