Center Highlights
Cardio and Weight Machines
State-of-the-art cardio exercise machines including treadmills, elliptical trainers, incline trainers, and both recumbent and upright bicycles. Most machines come with in-screen cable TV! Weight lifting equipment options range from traditional strength machines, a selection of free weights, and a complete line of innovative FreeMotion Fitness™ selectorized weight machines. Rock Climbing Wall
Wall Facts:
- 29’ high x 40’ wide Top rope climbing area
- 14’ high x 60' wide Bouldering area

Indoor Running Track
Track Facts:
- Rubberized running surface
- 10 laps = 1 mile
- Directions change every day (Odd Days, Even Days)
- Slower traffic uses inner lanes
- Adjacent stretching area
3 Sport Courts (Combination Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton)
 Regulation-sized basketball courts One court designated for “Open recreation” during all center open hours
3 Racquetball Courts
 3 regulation racquetball courts, can also be set up for Wallyball. To be safe when playing racquetball, be sure to wear eye goggles and use your racket's wrist strap. Goggles, rackets, and racquetballs can be checked out at the Equipment Window.
Refurbished Pool and New Lockerrooms
Users now enter the aquatics area through the center from the west side or deep end of the pool. One lane is designated as "Lap swim" during all open hours. The pool now supports a salt water filtration system, which is safer for skin and eyes since it uses fewer chemicals. Locker Rooms are equipped with lockers for free day-use or for long-term rentals.
TV Lounge and Snack Bar Area
Relax and visit with your friends after your workout or Intramural game. Wireless internet access available.
The Bison Spirit
A life-sized bronze American Bison, sculpted by artist Harold T. Holden, is located in the center's atrium. Holden, from Kremlin, Oklahoma, has created numerous public works of art across the state. The Bison Spirit is designated as an Official Oklahoma Centennial Project, and reflects OBU's proud heritage on Bison Hill.

Group Fitness Classes - For more information and a schedule of classes, contact the RAWC Front Desk (585-5220 or 878-2196)
Cardio Kickboxing- This class can improve strength, cardio fitness, flexibility, coordination, and balance. You will increase your endurance through this cardio workout with punches and kicks to condition the entire body.
Beginner Indoor Cycling- You will learn the correct form and technique of indoor cycling. This is a true cycling adventure. RUN, CLIMB and SPRINT your way through an intense, energizing ride while you are in control of the intensity.
Water Aerobics- Water exercise using chest-deep water as resistance. This class is excellent for improving strength, flexibility, and the cardiovascular system.
Awesome Abs- This class is concentrated on core strengthening. It will help you develop a strong core by performing various strength exercises on the floor, and by using the stability ball.
PACE- This class is a cardio, strength, and circuit training obstacle course where you participate at your own PACE.
Stretch- This class focuses completely on flexibility and relaxation. It also teaches proper stretching techniques that will aid in developing optimal benefits.
Cardio Circuit- A workout on different cardio exercise stations for certain short periods of time. Each station can be done at users own pace. Depending on the user, the class is designed to be able to be a very intense or a lower intense class.
Strength Sculpt- Total body conditioning class that use steps, dumbbells, resistance bands, balance tools, stability balls, and Bosu balls to sculpt and strengthen all of your major muscle groups.
Forever Young- Forever Young is an exercise program created for either members that are 50 years of age and older, or someone who is just starting an exercise program. This program is usually low impact, improves flexibility and the cardiovascular system. It also revitalizes the person working out, giving him or her more energy, confidence, and satisfaction.
