Bison Dance Team

The Bison Dance Team is a recreational and competitive dance team at Oklahoma Baptist University. Our goal as the first OBU dance team is to allow college dancers attending OBU to flourish in their passion for dance. In rehearsals, we strive to provide artistic movements, advanced technique, and a shared passion for the gifts God has given us. For performances, we want to portray our skills to the best of our ability and praise God through our abilities. Oklahoma Baptist University dance team will exemplify Psalms 149:3 as their team motto and bring glory to God in all things.

Membership Information

Members of The Bison Dance Team are required to audition for a spot on the team. Auditions will consist of warm-up, across the floor technique, and a combination that will be performed in front of a panel of judges. We ask that you dress to impress while maintaining the RAWC dress code, but there is no need for glitz and leotards; Jazz shoes are suggested. We are looking for potential to grow and learn; it doesn't have to be perfect yet.
