Chapel - Dr. Bob Agee

Dr. Bob Agee, president emeritus of OBU, will speak on "Finding the Source of Courage to Be and to Do," based on Psalm 91. Dr. Agee served as OBU's 13th president from 1982-98. He serves as a professor of educational leadership and special assistant to the president of Union University. He also is a founder and senior consultant for Agee, Stewart & Allen Development Services (www.asadevelopmentservices.com).

†A native of Brownsville, Tenn., Dr. Agee was raised in Memphis. He holds a bachelorís degree from Union University, masterís and doctoral degrees from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. degree in higher education administration from Vanderbiltís George Peabody College for Teachers. He and his wife, Nelle, a former OBU education professor, reside in Jackson, Tenn.

This year's chapel theme is "The Psalms," with "The Treasury of David" by C.H. Spurgeon as a resource backdrop for the study.
