OBU’s university advancement team has named Gretchen Trimble as a director of development, with responsibilities for the Shawnee and Oklahoma City regions.
“Gretchen Trimble has established herself as a dedicated and able professional,” said Will Smallwood, vice president for advancement at OBU. “Her background in marketing and business development will enhance our efforts in advancing the mission, vision and values of this great university. I am convinced that Gretchen will earn the trust and confidence of Oklahoma Baptist University’s alumni, donors and friends as she leads our development initiatives in Central Oklahoma.”
Trimble earned an associate degree in business administration from Lake Land Community College in Mattoon, Ill.; and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Mo.
She comes to OBU from First National Bank & Trust Co., in Shawnee, where she worked since August 2010 in marketing and business development. She previously worked for Bolivar Primary School as a paraeducator in the special education department and as a customer service representative and teller at Mid-Missouri Bank in Bolivar.
