OBU’s Paul Dickinson College of Business will host Clay Collum as a Business Forum speaker Friday, Feb. 24, at 10 a.m. The community is invited to attend the lecture in the Tulsa Royalties Auditorium in the Bailey Business Center.
A Shawnee native, Collum graduated from OBU in 2002 with a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting. During college he completed internships with Finley & Cook in Shawnee and Arthur Andersen in Dallas. His full-time career began with KPMG in Houston in 2003, and he received his license to practice as a certified public accountant shortly afterwards. He has served clients in the United States and abroad in his employment with KPMG. Collum is currently a senior manager in the International Executive Services tax practice at KPMG in Houston.
The premise of the lecture, titled “Some things change. Some never will,” focuses on how a person’s plans often change, but God’s plans remain the same.
The OBU Business Forum is part of the College of Business semi-annual lecture series. The Business Forum speaker traditionally is a graduate of OBU.
