Several new employees have joined the OBU staff in recent weeks in Events, Conferences and Camps; Public Relations; Facilities Management and Services; and University Police.
Britton Buss assumed the new role of audio/visual technical director on Aug. 9. Buss earned a bachelor's degree in telecommunication from OBU in 2001. He provides support for all audio/visual and other technically related needs for various campus departments.
Hannah Hays is the new Web content coordinator in Public Relations. She received a bachelor's degree in strategic communication from OBU in 2010. She started in the position July 19. Hays provides coordination of the university's website and supports Web managers on campus in developing Web content for their departments or divisions.
Robert Dale Norman started May 10 as an athletic facilities groundskeeper. Norman graduated from Dale High School before serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. He graduated from Southern Nazarene University with a bachelor's degree in business finance. His responsibilities include maintaining the overall appearance and safety of the OBU athletic fields.
Charles Taylor began work as a security corporal on Aug. 10. Taylor previously worked in security at the U.S. Embassy in Copenhagen, Denmark. He has served in the U.S. Air Force. OBU security corporals are non-commissioned personnel who provide basic security and safety services to students, faculty and staff of the university.
