"Proudly Stand on Bison Hill" is a 9-by-12, hard-cover coffee table book with 256 pages and more than 900 historic photographs. It includes highlights for each school year, from the founding of the school in 1910 to the present. The book also includes photographs of faculty and administrators who served OBU for 20 years or more.
Parrish, who has served as chairman of OBU's Centennial Committee, will be available to sign books during the event. Parrish, who is executive vice president emeritus of OBU, is the author of other OBU Centennial books, "The Glory Years of Bison Basketball: Oklahoma Baptist University's 1964-65, 1965-66 and 1966-67 Seasons," and "OBU Hoops: A History of Oklahoma Baptist University Bison and Lady Bison Basketball 1911-2007." Parrish served at OBU from 1964-2002 in a variety of capacities: journalism faculty member and student publications adviser; public relations director; alumni director; assistant vice president for development; vice president for institutional advancement; senior vice president for business and external affairs; and executive vice president and chief financial officer. In 2007-08, Parrish served as interim president of the university.

Terry joined the university staff in 1967 as treasurer and comptroller. He was promoted to vice president in 1975 and served as interim administrator (president) in 1982. He added the role of executive assistant to the president in late 1982. He retired from full-time service in 1995 and served as assistant to the president until 1998, when he became director of the university archives.
