Loyd, Lee to Present Senior Recital March 28

Two Oklahoma Baptist University students, Meghan Loyd and Justin Lee, will perform their senior recital Sunday, March 28, at 3 p.m. in Raley Chapel's Yarborough Auditorium. The public is invited to attend this free performance.

Loyd, a soprano from Fort Smith, Ark., plans to teach middle school vocal music in the public school system following graduation in May. This recital partially fulfills the requirements for the bachelor of music education degree with voice emphasis. Loyd is from the studio of Dr. Louima Lilite, OBU assistant professor of music.

Lee, a baritone vocal music education major from Shawnee, Okla., plans to teach high school choir after graduation. This recital by Lee partially fulfills the requirements for the bachelor of music education degree with voice emphasis. Lee is from the studio of Dr. Mark McQuade, OBU assistant professor of music and coordinator of vocal studies.

The students will be accompanied on the piano by Dr. Keith Whitmore,OBU assistant professor of music.

The program includes pieces from various composers ranging from 1625-1927. Among the composers are Handel, Hasse, Schubert, Wolf, Fauré, Puccini, Finzi and Argento.

The audience is cordially invited to a reception in Room 142 immediately following the recital.
