Three new staff members have joined Oklahoma Baptist University's Facilities Management and Services this fall. One staff member has assumed a new role with the University Police.
Matt Garlington joined the staff as a utility crew worker on Nov. 2. He is responsible for setting up facilities for meetings and special events throughout OBU.
Michael Jack will assume the role of groundskeeper Nov. 16. His responsibilities include maintaining the overall appearance and safety of the OBU Campus, rental properties and athletic fields.
Paul Shannon arrived on staff at OBU Nov. 7 in the role of general maintenance and preventive maintenance. His responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment and plumbing fixtures as well as assisting the electrician, plumber, HVAC technicians and communications technician as needed.
Daniel Ramey transferred Nov. 8 to the role of residence facility officer in WMU Dormitory from residence facility officer in Howard Residence Center. Residence facility officers are non-commissioned safety personnel who provide basic safety services to students residing in OBU housing.
