OBU Welcomes Prospective Students to Be-A-Bison Day

Soon-to-be freshmen have the opportunity to see what Oklahoma Baptist University is like first-hand Wednesday, Dec. 10, during OBU's Be-A-Bison Day. Prospective students are shadowing an OBU student, touring the campus and meeting OBU faculty and staff.

On Be-A-Bison Day, students are paired up with members of The Herd, a student organization which assists the admissions process and recruitment of new students at Oklahoma Baptist University. Prospective students attended the Christmas Fine Arts chapel and classes, ate in the Aramark cafeteria and got an inside look into dorm life.

"This is a great opportunity for students to have an intimate look at what they can expect during a normal day at OBU," said Trent Argo, OBU's dean of enrollment management.

Be-A-Bison Day is primarily for students who already have been accepted to OBU. Students interested in attending future Be-A-Bison Days can sign up on the OBU Web site (http://www.okbu.edu/) or contact the OBU admissions office at (800) 654-3285.
