Soon-to-be freshmen will have the opportunity to see what Oklahoma Baptist University is like first-hand Friday, Oct. 31, during OBU's "Be a Bison Day." Prospective students will have the opportunity to shadow an OBU student, tour the campus and meet OBU faculty and staff.
Students will be paired up with members of The Herd, a student organization which assists the admissions process and recruitment of new students at Oklahoma Baptist University. Prospective students will attend chapel and classes, eat in the Aramark cafeteria and get an inside look into dorm life.
"This is a great opportunity for students to have an intimate look at what they can expect during a normal day at OBU," said Trent Argo, OBU's dean of enrollment management.
Be-A-Bison Day is primarily for students who already have been accepted to OBU. Students interested in attending Be-A-Bison Day can sign up on the OBU Web site (http://www.okbu.edu/) or contact the OBU admissions office at (800) 654-3285.
