White Joins Coaching Staff
Oklahoma Baptist added Michael White to the staff as assistant coach for men's and women's soccer.
White comes to OBU from Stratford Academy in Macon, Ga., where he coached soccer and cross country while also coaching the Macon Soccer Club boys and girls.

A four-year letterman and senior captain at Samford University, White also is a certified United States Soccer Federation coach with a national ‘A' Level Coaching License.

A graduate of Samford, he holds a bachelor's degree in physical education and a master's degree from the University of Alabama-Birmingham in sport administration.

White also has college coaching experiences as a head coach at Montreat College and an assistant coach at Palm Beach Atlantic. He also spent two years as a youth sports developer in Cambodia and Uzbekistan as part of the Southern Baptist International Mission Board.
