Oklahoma Baptist University baseball hits primetime next spring with the addition of lights at Bison Field at Ford Park.

The lights were turned on Tuesday afternoon and must remain on for 72 hours to allow the system to "burn in."

The Bison will schedule several home dates for night baseball next spring, though many daytime dates are probable early in the season.

Several universities in the Sooner Athletic Conference have added lights, which allow for bigger fan support while also permitting student athletes to miss less class time.
