Nicholas Hermes of Magnolia High School in Magnolia, Texas, has signed to run track and cross country for Oklahoma Baptist University, beginning in the fall of 2008.

The son of Richard and Denise Hermes, Nicholas was a three-year regional qualifier in cross country and a one-year qualifier in track. He also was a member of the Kansas Relays champion Distance Medley Relay team.

Hermes is a member of the National Honor Society and is an Eagle Scout.
