Oklahoma Baptist University first baseman Josh Collazo was named Sooner Athletic Conference Player of the Year Saturday.

Collazo, a junior first baseman from Tampa, Fla., has driven in 100 runs and has 22 home runs on the season, while batting .432 this season. He established new single season records for both RBI and home runs. He also won the SAC Rawlings Gold Glove Award at first base.

Collazo was joined on the All-SAC team by teammates Jordan McCavitt and Mason Reilly.

Reilly, a senior catcher from San Lorenzo, Calif. had 10 home runs, 71 RBI and batted.396.

McCavitt, a senior reliever from Santa Cruz, Calif., was 8-2 with three saves and a 2.92 earned run average.
