Bison Eighth at Red River
Oklahoma Baptist University finished eighth in the Red River Intercollegiate men's golf tournament at WinStar Golf Club in Thackerville Tuesday.

The Bison finished with a three-round 901 team score, 37 strokes off the pace of champion Northeastern State University.

Arnaud Cotten took 13th place for the Bison with a team-leading 220 (+4). He sandwiched a round of 72 between two 74s.

Jason Carpenter was 20th at 223 despite having the second-best second round of the tournament with an 80, a 68 and a 75. Alex Hamilton was 29th at 226 with 75-78-73. Mark Richards produced a 79-77-76 for a 41st-place 232.

Zac Rawls rounded things out for OBU in 58th at 246 with an 86-78-82.

OBU is back in action Monday and Tuesday at Texas Wesleyan's UST Invitational in Fort Worth.
