Bison Drop Two at Wayland Baptist
Oklahoma Baptist lost its fourth and fifth straight Sooner Athletic Conference games, losing both ends of a doubleheader in Texas to Wayland Baptist University, 5-2 and 6-4.

OBU allowed a five-run fourth in the opener and got only a two-run single from Josh Kirkpatrick in response.

Josh Collazo had two of OBU's six hits off Todd Jeffress.

The Bison trailed 5-0 in the second before erupting for four runs in the sixth on an RBI single by Chris Chambers and a three-run home run by Kirkpatrick.

Mason Reilly had two hits to lead the Bison.

Josh Palmer and Doug Hurn were charged with the OBU losses.

The teams play a nine-inning game to finish the series Sunday at 1 p.m.
