OBU to Host Public Forum on Education

Oklahoma Baptist University’s division of teacher education is hosting its annual public forum, Dec. 11, at 5 p.m. in OBU’s Bailey Business Center’s auditorium.
Dr. John Farris, chair of OBU’s division of teacher education, said the forum is designed to give the general public an opportunity to learn more about OBU’s teacher education program and give feedback to help the program prepare future teachers.
The teacher education program includes 12 areas of focus: art; early childhood education; elementary; health, physical education and recreation; music, instrumental; music, vocal; secondary English; secondary mathematics; secondary science; secondary social studies; Spanish and special education.
