Lady Bison Sixth at OCU Classic
Oklahoma Baptist finished sixth among seven teams in the Oklahoma City University Women’s Fall Classic Tuesday, firing off rounds of 362 and 354.

OBU was in seventh after the first round, but trimming eight strokes off their score pushed them past Southwestern College of Kansas, 716 to 722.

Oklahoma City won the classic at 622, followed by Lubbock Christian at 633, Southern Nazarene at 661, Northwood at 666 and Arkansas Tech at 716.

Cierra Boone led the Lady Bison with a two-round 174, shooting a 91, followed by an 83, to finish 24th. Laura Cummins was 28th at 176 with an 87 and an 89.

Molly Moore was 30th at 177 with an 88 and an 89. Heather Brown was 35th with a 96 and a 93 for 189. Stephanie Bierd shot 104 and 96 for 200 and 38th place.

OBU plays in the Southwestern College Fall Classic Oct. 8-9.
