Bison Seventh at Lindenwood

Oklahoma Baptist University finished seventh among 15 teams at the Lindenwood Fall Invitational Tuesday, shooting a three-round 914.
Alex Hamilton, a freshman from Australia, finished seventh with rounds of 75, 72 and 73 for a 220 to lead the Bison. Jason Carpenter was 21st at 227 after rounds of 72, 80 and 75. Carpenter was tied for third after the first round.
Arnaud Cotton was 29th with a pair of 76s to go along with a third-round 77 for a 229. Mark Richards sandwiched an 80 between two 79s for a 46th-place 238 and Michael Allen shot 82-88-87 to finish in 69th place at 257.
John A. Logan Community College won the event at 880, followed by Lindenwood and Southern Nazarene at 888, Spring Hill at 896, Mobile at 897, the Lindenwood JV at 912, the Bison at 914 and McKendree at 917. Finishing out the field were Indiana Wesleyan, Missouri Baptist, Baker, the McKendree JV, Culver-Stockton and the Baker JV.
The Bison return to action Oct. 8-9 at Southwestern Kansas.
