OBU Play Explores National Hot Topic

Oklahoma Baptist University's College Players tackle a dramatic examination of a sensitive social issue in their upcoming production of "Keely and Du," March 22-24 and 29-31 at 7:30 p.m. in the university's Dorland Theatre.

The play, written by Jane Martin, explores an unlikely bond between a radical "Right To Life" activist and a pregnant rape victim. The two characters seek to transcend their circumstances and the ideological issues that separate them.

The stage manager for the production is junior Brandon Roye, the assistant stage manager is senior Tana Fleming, the house manager is senior Margaret St. John, and the props manager is freshman Shekinah Rogers.

The scene design was created by senior Will Burgin and the costume design by sophomore Cheryl Sartain.
