Tulsa Businesswoman To Speak at Forum

The Paul Dickinson School of Business of Oklahoma Baptist University will host the first business forum of the semester Monday Nov. 13, at 10 a.m. in the university's Bailey Business Center auditorium.
Paula Marshall-Chapman chief executive officer of The Bama Companies, which includes Bama Foods, Bama Frozen Dough, Base, Inc. and Beijing Bama, Inc., will present the lecture, "People Helping People Be Successful."
She earned her bachelor of science degree in business and her doctorate of commercial science from Oklahoma City University.
Marshall-Chapman has served in her current position for the past 16 years. During this time she has received honors such as being named to the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, Business Hall of Fame. In 1999 she received the Pinnacle Award from the Sales and Marketing Executives International Academy of Achievements.
Bama Companies have expanded under her leadership to provide a wide variety of desserts and baked goods to fast food chains such as McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Braum's Ice Cream, and Darden restaurants, including Red Lobster and Olive Garden.
Marshall-Chapman, a native of Tulsa, is also serves as the president of the Oklahoma Quality Foundation Board and chairman of the Tulsa Chamber of Commerce.
