Chris Jones will join the Oklahoma Baptist University development office as director of development, effective May 1. Jones currently serves as an admissions counselor at OBU.
His duties will include working as a regional development officer for Western Oklahoma and directing and assisting with the University's capital campaign phases, among other responsibilities.
"We are pleased the Chris will be joining our staff and working with our various alumni and friends throughout Western Oklahoma," said John Patterson, OBU vice president for development. "Being an OBU graduate and having worked at the university for two years, Chris has a deep understanding of our mission and purpose."
Jones graduated from OBU in 1998 with a bachelor of arts degree in applied ministry. Prior to joining the OBU admissions staff in 1998, he worked three years at BancFirst in Shawnee as a commercial teller and customer service representative.
