OBU to Graduate 258 in Spring Commencement

Two hundred and fifty-eight students will have degrees conferred upon them during OBU’s 2007 Spring Commencement on Saturday, May 19, at 10 a.m. in the university’s Raley Chapel.

Dr. Bill Hagen, professor of English and recipient of OBU’s 2006 Distinguished Teaching Award, will deliver the Commencement address.

A capacity crowd of more than 1,800 is expected for the graduation exercises. In addition to the address from Hagen, the program includes greetings by officials from the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma and induction into the OBU Alumni Association. OBU President Mark Brister will preside at the event.
