Send Missionaries

“Jesus said, ‘As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.’” (John 20:21)

Missionaries communicate cross culturally to peoples in other cultures. Today, more missionaries than ever are going to the most difficult places and seeing results. Yet there are still four billion people who don’t know Christ and 1.5 billion who have no access to the gospel. More opportunities than ever are available and people from all walks of life are using all means to communicate God’s love.

The following opportunities are available to you:

  • OBU Programs Overseas with Global Consortium for Education
  • OBU regularly sends more Journeymen (recent college graduates going for two years) than any other school.
  • OBU Program for Summer Volunteers
  • Semester Overseas in Missions Program
  • OBU is second in 47 Baptist universities in the number of graduates who are Career Missionaries.
  • GO Training Church Mission Volunteers in cooperation with BGCO
  • OBU students leading On Mission with God Weekends in the churches
