Academic Programs in Cross-Cultural Ministry @ OBU

OBU is a great place to study and do missions! Increasingly, missionaries go to places in the world where as "missionaries," they would not be welcome. They need a platform for service that will be both recognized and welcomed by their host country. We try our best to provide that platform.

Students may chose from many compatible disciplines to provide just the right platform for witness and ministry. Some of these include business, TESOL, communication, languages, and music.
Those majoring in cross-cultural ministry will not find a "pure" missions program, but rather a blend of missiology, Bible and theology, and cultural anthropology.

A new and very unique addition to our CCM program is the first undergraduate in orality studies (chronological Bible storying) within a missiological context. Click on the links to the right to explore these disciplines.
