Welcome to our home
OBU is a small, Christian liberal arts university which emphasizes academic, spiritual and social growth. Founded in 1910, we have deep roots in our hometown of Shawnee. The local community provided 60 acres and our first building in the early years of Oklahoma's statehood. Today, we have 33 major buildings on a 189-acre campus known as Bison Hill. It is a launching pad for global involvement by our students and alumni. Our attractive campus also is a safe and friendly community where students grow as they integrate faith and knowledge.
Please use this web site to discover more about OBU. If you plan to visit our campus, here's a regional map and a campus map to help you find your way.
