Professor Watts is an OBU alumnus and joined OBU Nursing Faculty in 2008. She serves as an Officer in the Army Nurse Corp of the United States Army. Professor Watts has a wide range of clinical nursing experience in Oncology, Medical-Surgical, Military, Case Management, Disaster, Education and Community Health Nursing.
She served several years as OBU’s Academic Vice President of Sigma Theta Tau. She serves on the Army Grassroots committee and the Local Emergency Planning committee. She is a Red Cross and Oklahoma Medical Reserve Corp Nurse and has had the opportunity to serve in several disasters.
She is a member and attends Dale Baptist Church and serves in several capacities and yearly serves as cook and nurse at Fall’s Creek Baptist Church Camp.
Professor Watts has received 4 Army Achievement Medals and 1 Army Commendation Medal during her military service.
