Pam Robinson is a frequent presenter at conferences across the United States. Some of the topics have included "Preparing Informed Educators," "How to Prepare for College," "Legal Issues in Special Education," "What They Forgot to Tell Me Before I Did My Student Teaching" and "Education Begins At Home." She has made two presentations addressing education in America to the Moscow Economic School. As a service to the profession of special education, Dr. Robinson serves as a national program trainer and reviewer for the Council for Exceptional Children. She also serves on the Program Review Advisory Board for the Oklahoma Commission for Teacher Preparation. She has chaired the state accreditation team for four Oklahoma institutions.
Before coming to OBU, Pam was the director of Federal Programs for the McLoud Public Schools. Dr. Robinson is a member of Hilltop Baptist Church in Shawnee where she works with young adults, serves in Baptist Women, and plays the organ. She also chairs the Shawnee Salvation Army Advisory Board and is an active member of the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary. In her spare time, she enjoys helping her husband with Hodaka motorcycles, watching old movies, scrapbooking and genealogy.
