Biography

Dr. Brian Camp came to Bison Hill in 2004 after serving at Louisiana Tech University for 11 years. A native of Oklahoma, Dr. Camp has served Oklahoma families both through involvement in the Oklahoma Council on Family Relations (OKCFR) as well as through his role as a family life educator and Christian counselor. Dr. Camp served three years as the President of OKCFR and used that position to draw attention to many issues facing Oklahoma families. His interest is in strengthening and enriching family relationships. His research and presentation interests focus primarily on marriage, parenting, sexuality and grief. His primary calling is to strengthen families within the body of Christ. He is a requested speaker on the topic of parenting the soon-to-be college student and helps parents with this difficult transition.

In 1984 Dr. Camp was married. He and his wife have three daughters. His wife and daughters are the primary motivation for his desire to advance the well-being of families in our society.
