Why OBU: In comparison to other colleges and universities that I have visited OBU has one thing that really stands out to me, the people. At OBU I have made friends and built relationships with people that daily challenge me to strive harder to achieve academically, as well as grow spiritually. Not only have I found the student population caring, but every staff member on campus- the ARA workers and grounds crew, everyone is excited about OBU and they all truly care about making it a better place each day. OBU is comfortable and challenging at the same time. It is a place where I am unafraid to ask questions until I understand. A place where we are taught to seek truth, as opposed to having it handed to us. OBU is home.
