| A 1984 OBU alum, Dale Griffin has spent most of his life working with students. He served in Oklahoma and Texas from 1984-1990. He served the Baptist Student Union at the University of New Mexico from 1990-1997 as its director. Dale then went on to serve as minister of worship from 1997-2002 at Northwest Baptist Church in Oklahoma City.
From 1989-97, Dale and his wife, Donna, served as worship leaders at student and mission conferences and revivals across the southwest. In addition, he hosted two radio programs, "Lyt Reminders" and "Think About It" from 1993-97 in Albuquerque, NM.
Dale's vision for campus ministry at OBU encompasses all elements of the university. "OBU is Campus Ministry," is his heartfelt opinion. "OBU exists to educate the whole person for Kingdom Purposes. That is why it's a joy to assist the university in its mission through cocurricular activies in the primary community environments of Worship, Small Groups, and Service/Missions."
