Student Activities
Students are involved in a wealth of activities on and off campus, in service projects or just for building community. A complete list is by categories on the right. Several groups include:
Volunteer Action Committee which is here to help you get involved in the community. We are here to serve you, so let us know what we can do to help you. If you want to serve in the community, no matter what kind of service, we can help you.
Community Activities Board which plans the talent shows Biggie, Freshman Follies and Spring Affair, the infamous Twirp Week, and other great events.
OBU Theatre puts on at least four plays each year. The last five years has brought plays like Much Ado About Nothing, The Adding Machine, The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood, Our Town, Zink: The Myth, The Legend, The Zebra, The Madwoman of Chaillot, and The Velveteen Rabbit.
University Concert Series brings in national musical acts like Bebo Norman (Spring 2003) and Ceadmon's Call (Fall 2004). They also organize Open Mic Nights and other student music showcases.
