Pedersen returns to Shawnee for her junior campaign after a successful sophomore season.  She captured 1^st place in the steeple chase at the Oklahoma Christian Invitational last season and was 15^th place at the Sooner Athletic Conference Cross Country meet.  She was a three-time State Qualifier in cross country at Centura High School.  Pedersen is the daughter of Clark and Denise Pedersen.
