A transfer from Pittsburg State, Beach was an All-State pitcher in 2006 for Bixby High School, leading the team to the championship game. She was a three-time All-Conference selection with a 0.93 earned run average and 17 shutouts. She also batted fourth and had seven home runs her senior season with a .412 batting average. She is the daughter of Jeff and Billye Beach
