Bierd comes to Bison Hill as a freshman out of Eastwood High School in El Paso, Texas.  While at Eastwood, Bierd was the President of Business Education Co-op, a member of the National Honor Society, YFC and FCA, and was in the top ten percent of her graduating class.  She is the daughter of Don and Pamela Bierd.
