Carter comes to the Bison from West Hills College in Coalinga, California where he was the teammate of current Bison Albert Moore.  He was a member of the First Team All Conference squad as a sophomore and led the state of California in blocked shots.  He went to John Muir High School where he was Second Team All Conference and was fourth in the state in blocked shots.  Carter is the son of Sandra Carter.
