Jones begins his first season at OBU after playing two years at Grayson County College where he was named to the Honorable Mention All Conference Team as a sophomore.  Jones attended Robert S. Rogers High School in Toledo where he was a member of the All-State, All-Region, and All-City teams in basketball as a senior.  He is the son of Sonja Cruse.
