Perez comes to Shawnee after playing two seasons at Bakersfield College in California.  His sophomore campaign he led the team in rebounding averaging over 6 boards a game, and was named to the Honorable Mention All Conference Team.  Perez attended Claremont High School and is the son of Jocelyn Perez.
