| History of OBU Men's Basketball
For more than 75 years, the OBU men’s basketball teams have established a tradition of excellence with winning records on the court and achievements in character and academics off the court.
The men have garnered a national championship, eight district titles, and 13 NAIA All-American athletes.
OBU is one of only four Oklahoma schools ever to win the NAIA national championship.
During the past 44 years, men’s basketball has won eight district championships and has finished runners-up on eight occasions. They have appeared in the national tournament 16 times, and they have produced 16 NAIA All-American honors. They have also won the Sooner Athletic Conference Championship seven times since the 1990.
