Complete and submit the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov(OBU's School Code is 003164) as soon after January 1 as possible of the year for which you are applying to receive financial aid. 3. We receive your information electronically and review it for accuracy. If additional information is needed, you will be sent a missing document email or letter by our office. Failure to respond quickly can reduce the amount of financial aid which you are offered.
4. Once your file is complete, and we have received all the documentation needed, you will be sent an "Award Letter" listing the financial aid for which you qualify.
5. If you are applying for a Stafford Loan, follow the instructions on your award letter in order to complete the loan process.
