Oklahoma Baptist University College of Nursing is seeking renewal of its national accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) beginning October 6-8, 2014. As a member of the School’s constituency and community of interest, we invite you to submit comments to CCNE regarding the BSN and MSN program achievements as they relate to accreditation standards. Comments may be submitted to the address provided below.
Written and signed third-party comments will be accepted by CCNE until 30 days before the visit (September 6, 2014). Third-party comments are shared with the evaluation team but not with the program. Evaluators consider third-party comments that relate to the program’s compliance with the accreditation standards. CCNE evaluates the effectiveness and quality of nursing programs based on standards related to the following four areas: Mission and Governance, Institutional Commitment and Resources, Teaching-Learning Practices, and Student Performance and Faculty Accomplishments.
