Martha Hernandez teaches all levels of nursing courses and has experience in medical surgical, newborn nursery, new born intensive care units, post partum, ITCU and psychiatric nursing in the hospital and home health settings. Mrs. Hernandez also maintains a private practice as a Clinical Nurse Specialist at Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing providing outpatient therapy through Baptist Counseling Associates at Pottawatomie-Lincoln Baptist Association in Shawnee. She volunteers at the Health Center of Pottawatomie County and is a member of the Shawnee PTA and Shawnee High School Band Booster. She is a member of First Indian Baptist Church where she is a Sunday school teacher, pianist, and works with the Children Church ministry.
